At Wildwood, we take pride in crafting premium hemp-derived products made from hemp grown right here in the ruggedly beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our commitment to quality starts with sourcing the best ingredients, ensuring a clean, consistent, and enjoyable experience with every product.
Why Can’t You Find Wildwood Products in Oregon?
Although our hemp-derived products are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp and its derivatives containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, Oregon state law places additional restrictions on certain hemp-based products. Specifically, Oregon prohibits the sale of certain hemp-derived cannabinoids, including hemp-derived Delta-9 THC and other intoxicating compounds, even when they meet federal compliance standards.
This means that while Wildwood’s products are legally available in many other states, Oregon’s state-specific regulations prevent us from selling them locally.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next for Hemp Laws?
As the 2024 Farm Bill approaches, lawmakers are considering updates to federal hemp regulations, potentially clarifying and refining the industry’s legal landscape. While state-level laws like Oregon’s will continue to play a role in market access, we remain hopeful that evolving regulations will create more clarity and consistency for consumers and businesses alike.
For now, Oregonians looking to enjoy Wildwood’s premium hemp products will need to explore purchasing options in states where our products are available.
Stay tuned for updates on hemp regulations and how they impact Wildwood’s availability. In the meantime, we remain committed to helping you discover the perfect high—wherever local laws allow.
